Part of the "Inspired by…" series, the Chocolate Gateau Bracelet is inspired by the one act, one woman opera by Lee Hoiby: Bon Appetit!

The text of the opera is pulled directly from a 1971 episode of the famous PBS Show , The French Chef with Julia Child. The episode deals with Julia making a chocolate cake. Hoiby adds music and humor!

The bracelet is composed of chocolate-colored glass beads and pearls. Charms evoke Julia’s famous competition between a whisk and an electric mixer!

"Inspired By..." Series Bracelets come with a card that identifies the symbolism of the charms and colors used.

My mom looooves it. This is the third purchase I’ve made from Cindy and she never disappoints. The attention to detail and creativity in everything she makes is beautiful. ❤️

Beautifully made, as always, and such fun - I got this to celebrate Julia Child, Ina Garten, and Ann Hood - good food and good times!

    Chocolate Gateau bracelet

My 11 year old granddaughter took one look and pronounced it "super"! We watch the British Bakeoff show together and sometimes the silly baking show, Nailed It! (wherein no one ever does), so this will be a fun reminder of mornings spent waffling and cupcaking. I love the detail of the charms!
