Beginning in August 2013, I began an exciting volunteer opportunity with the Opera Guild of Rochester!

Seeing that the Guild had created a page on Facebook but did not seem to have the resources to post regularly, I offered to take on this responsibility for them. Now as Facebook coordinator for the Guild, I post daily on Guild lectures, tours and events as well as keeping the Rochester opera community apprised on all relevant opera news and local opera performances. In addition I posts fun items for the group such as opera singer birthdays and anniversaries of opera premiers as well as remind everyone about upcoming opera broadcasts on WXXI 91.5 radio and at movie theaters via the Met Live in HD and Opera in Cinemas series.

I am thrilled to be helping the Guild create a vibrant online opera community to support all their offline activities to encourage opera education and performances! I hopes to be a vital part of growing opera interest and audiences in the Rochetser, NY area.
