Opera Bracelets presents: The Il Trovatore Opera Bracelet
The launch of this bracelet has been delayed for years due to the scarcity of a consistently reliable supplier of a pewter anvil charm to represent the Anvil Chorus. Multiple requests for Il Trovatore, however, prompted a creative solution which was discovered by researching the Libretto.
The piece of music in question is more properly known as "Coro di zingari" or Gypsy Chorus. The words to the beloved song do not actually ever mention anvils; it is an unspoken reference.
Opera Bracelets has chosen to represent this small but beloved portion of Il Trovatore with hammer and goblet charms reflective of the lyrics: "Lift up your hammers...Fill up the goblets!"
