Part of the "Inspired by…" series, the Song to the Moon Bracelet is inspired by the heartfelt aria from Dvořák's opera, Rusalka. Rusalka a water nymph implores the moon to visit her human prince and tell him of her love while she awaits her transformation into a mortal woman. After her song, with courage, she summons the witch Ježibaba who will perform the magic that will give her a human soul...

Glass opalescent beads and tiny glass pearls symbolize moonlight. Heart beads represent Rusalka's love song. A wave-like heart charm symbolizes Rusalka's description of embracing her prince in the form of a wave. A crescent moon with a wave-like pattern evokes the moonlight reflecting upon the water and a mermaid charm represents Rusalka herself in her water nymph form.

All "Inspired By..." Series Bracelets come with a card that identifies the symbolism of the charms and colors used.

My daughter's favourite aria is 'Song to the Moon' by Dvorak and having recently graduated from Trinity Laban Conservatoire in London (she is a soprano), I thought that the bracelet would be a wonderful keep sake for her 4 years of hard work - I was not disappointed! I can highly recommend this beautiful piece of jewellery and I am looking forward to presenting it to my daughter on her graduation day in December - I know it will hold special memories for her!
