The Turandot Earrings represents Puccini's opera through symbolic beads and charms. This piece makes a great gift for opera lovers.

Cloisonné* beads evoke the setting of mythical ancient China. Clear crystals with a crown charm evoke ice princess Turandot. Clear crackle beads symbolize the melting of her heart. A heart with Chinese symbols for good fortune and harmony represents Turandot's final answer, introducing her husband to the emperor and court: "His name is Love".

Note: Cloisonné beads are lightweight hollow metal with intricate designs in enamel. Cloisonné is an artform practiced in Asia for thousands of years....

Turandot earrings

The Turandot earrings are stunning. I bought them to wear to the Met live stream performance and I received several compliments. They look striking on and are also comfortable (do not tug on the ears). I felt comfortable wearing them to the movie theater but you could also dress them up (I would wear them to an opera house or dressy occasion). The large beads are a beautiful blue color that contrasts with the red beads and Chinese symbols that are central to the plot. Now I have the earrings to keep and remind me of the show.
